Barbie Pins

So, the Barbie pins are just for fun. When I was growing up, I wasn’t allowed to play with Barbie dolls at first. When my sister and I were very young, my parents wanted to protect us from poor body image and an over emphasis on dating. After we were a bit older and schooled on these subjects, we were allowed to play with them. Oh, the hours of fun we had! Mom proudly bragged to others that her children played “family” with the Barbies. My sister and I fondly remember that my brother would reluctantly join us if we shared the one pair of doll jeans that we owned with him. (He also used the doll that’s legs had been chewed by the dog!)

Years later, my husband and I allow our daughters to play with Barbies while, understandably, some of our more conservative acquaintances do not make the same choice.
Anyway, my three girls enjoy playing with Barbie dolls. We also enjoy the older Barbie tv series and movies, and we like both looking at and taking our own Barbie photos.

The dolls make great subjects for photography and I have linked some extravagant fashion items to some photos of my own on Pinterest. I have also linked doll photos to some items that we actually enjoy: https://pin.it/4kb03ERIb, the Nintendo Switch which can be played by eight players, https://pin.it/25itIl21f the charger for the Nintendo Switch controllers, and https://pin.it/3qCNmDdJQ, one of our favorite LEGO houses.
